Los Angeles, 1950s. Ex-cop Jack Cleary works the streets as a private eye, hunting his brother’s killer with a young Johnny Betts at his side. Created by Anthony Yerkovich who also created Miami Vice. With the same cinematic ambition, a different decade, a darker corner of America.

Starring Michael Woods, Josh Brolin, Benicio del Toro (Barrio Nights), William Sadler, Lisa Jane Persky.

Blue Hotel  takes its name and its soul from three original Chris Isaak songs “Blue Hotel,” “You Owe Me Some Kind of Love,” and “Lie to Me” recorded before Isaak broke through with “Wicked Game.” Isaak dubbed his own vocals for the fictional rockabilly star at the center of the story, lending an eerie authenticity to a episode built around the dark machinery of the music industry: stolen masters, payola, and murder.

Joe Jackson composed the series score.
